Hello from Alaska!
Our Alaska Private Touring team, like many of you, is anxiously looking forward to a return to ‘normal.’ A return to simpler times, when we can comfortably plan our Alaska adventures without the need to consider the ramifications of COVID-19.
Travel is one of life’s greatest gifts, providing a mechanism to depart from our day-to-day lives while expanding our minds with new destinations and new experiences. Alaska is the perfect destination for recharging your soul. The scenery alone – mountains, glaciers, rivers, forests, lakes and streams – will take your breath away. Add in some wildlife, a bit of Native Alaskan culture, and all the adventure you could hope for – and Alaska becomes nothing short of remarkable. We know this at Alaska Private Touring – because we live it every day.
We’ve heard from many guests and potential guests over the last several months. Guests who aspired to travel this year. Guests who have had to postpone their Alaska travel plans for 2020. And guests who had to cancel their travel plans to other destinations and pivoted to Alaska. But despite the pandemic and the chaos COVID-19 has brought to our world, one thing remains clear: People WANT to travel to Alaska. And our team will be standing by when you feel it is safe and comfortable enough to do so.
While nothing new to us, custom, private travel is the ideal choice given the current circumstances. Traveling on your own private itinerary takes you away from the crowds. Our custom private itineraries include your own private vehicle and driver, exclusive excursions with private guides, and the utmost in flexibility for you and your travel companions.
For our part, our team continues to be diligent in working with our partners throughout Alaska to ensure safety and health protocols are in place to protect you during your time with us. Specific details about these protocols can be provided upon request, but overall we can assure you that all our suppliers are meeting – or often exceeding – the health protocols issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, directives from local health authorities, and policies recommended by our own industry leaders.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any specific questions or concerns about your Alaska dreams. We look forward to again welcoming visitors from around the world to Alaska and hope to see you here very soon.
