If you are an adventurer who wishes to experience a true Alaskan winter, then this private tour program is designed for you. Stay at the beautiful Alyeska Resort and ski the slopes of Mt. Alyeska. Take a charter into Prince William Sound and see Alaska’s famous glaciers. Enjoy the hospitality of an adventure lodge that reopens its doors each winter from the end of January through the end of April.  Here the adventures are limited only by your imagination. Your Alaska winter visit concludes in Fairbanks, where you’ll have the opportunity to soak in the Chena Hot Springs and see Alaska’s magnificent Aurora Borealis.

Arrive Anchorage

Upon arrival to the Anchorage International Airport, a private transfer will be provided to the resort town of Girdwood. Enjoy the amenities of the resort as you recover from your flight.

Do some local sightseeing including a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, or enjoy the resort's winter activities including downhill and cross-country skiing.

Prince William Sound

Travel by private vehicle to Whittier and board your private vessel for a day excursion into Prince William Sound. See the glaciers of Blackstone Bay along with the marine wildlife that call this area home (charter not available November - February 15).

Girdwood to Winterlake Lodge

Return to Anchorage for a charter flight (1-hour) to Winterlake Lodge. Upon arrival enjoy some local hospitality from your Alaskan hosts including a variety of activities and gourmet meals.

Lodge-based activities include cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, or a dog sled demonstration and ride. Return to the lodge in the evening for a gourmet meal and chance to see the Aurora Borealis.

Winterlake Lodge to Fairbanks

Return to Anchorage by charter flight and connect with scheduled service to Fairbanks. Meet your local guide in Fairbanks for an orientation tour including the University of Alaska Museum of the North. This evening travel just outside of town for an opportunity to view and photograph the Aurora Borealis.

Chena Hot Springs

Travel to Chena Hot Springs and enjoy a dip in the pools. This evening will provide another opportunity to view the Aurora.
