Day 1
After a thrilling flight by helicopter over spectacular glaciers, your pilot will land at a sled dog camp on Denver Glacier, located on the Juneau Icefield.
Exact flightseeing routes are selected daily for this 2-hour trip based on the weather forecast to ensure that you see the best sights possible on your Skagway private day tour. Possible highlights include the jagged peaks towering over the Chilkat Glacier, the cascading waterfalls surrounding the Ferebee Glacier, and/or the spectacular “river of ice” known as the Meade Glacier.
Experienced dogsledding guides will introduce you to the world of “mushing” and the art of dog sledding. Drive your own dog team or relax in the sled while your guide drives the sled and you get to just watch the breathtaking landscapes fly past you.
