You’ll begin your fun with a 25-minute van ride through historic Skagway and up the coastal mountains to the summit of White Pass with fascinated commentary from your driver/guide. You’ll retrace the route taken by thousands of gold-crazed stampeders during the Alaska Gold Rush of 1898. Along the way, your experienced guides, well-versed in the history and ecology of the area, will entertain you with stores of past and present life in the “gateway to the Klondike”.
After a bicycle orientation and safety briefing, your biking guides will escort you down the fifteen scenic miles from the summit to the sea! As you coast along the paved Klondike Highway on this 1.5-hour ride, you’ll make multiple stops for photos of the historic White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, cascading waterfalls, awe-inspiring glaciers, majestic mountains, and historic sites.
