Arrive Anchorage, Anchorage to Girdwood

Meet your private driver/guide at the Anchorage International Airport and transfer to your hotel, located at the base of the Chugach Mountains.

Spencer Glacier

Travel into the Chugach Mountains in a scenic railcar (25 minutes) to Spencer Glacier. Kayak amongst the icebergs to the face of the glacier, where you will leave your kayaks and hike on the glacier for 2-3 hours. Return to Girdwood in the evening.

Kenai Fjords National Park

Journey to Seward on the Seward Highway. Upon arrival, board a sightseeing cruise and search for wildlife such as whales, sea otters, puffins, and sea lions. Enjoy lunch onboard, before returning to Girdwood in luxury dome rail cars.

Girdwood to Talkeetna

Depart Girdwood for Talkeetna this morning. Stop along the way and explore the remote wilderness with an exciting ATV adventure through the forest. In the afternoon, travel to a glacier via helicopter and meet a team of huskies. Glide across the glacier on a sled, allowing the team to lead the way.

Denali State Park

Explore Alaska’s spectacular wilderness on a 4-6 mile moderate to strenuous trek with a great naturalist guide. Trek through lush forest, then (weather permitting) climb above tree line for spectacular views of Alaska Range peaks and glaciers.

Talkeetna to Kantishna / Denali National Park

Continue your travels north to the Denali Park Entrance. Board your lodge shuttle for a day of sightseeing through Denali National Park (6 hours). Look for bear, moose, caribou, Dall sheep, and wolves as well as spectacular scenery.

Kantishna / Denali National Park

Sightsee today with guided hikes, gold panning, nature walks, or biking. Enjoy evening lectures and discussions led by lodge staff.

Kantishna to Fairbanks

Return to the Denali Park Entrance early this morning on a scenic flight (35 minutes). At the park entrance, enjoy an 11-mile float from the park entrance towards Healy. Rapids are class II, III and IV, offering an exciting introduction to rafting. Travel to Fairbanks in the evening.
