Travel from Girdwood to Talkeetna
Journey north with your private driver/guide from Girdwood past Anchorage through the Matanuska-Susitna River Valley, an important agricultural area for the state and home to many dog kennels raising the next generation of Iditarod champions. Consider stopping at a kennel for an exclusive tour and learn about the history of dog mushing on your way to Talkeetna. From Talkeetna travel north with your private driver/guide to the Denali Park Entrance. Meet the lodge shuttle for the scenic journey through Denali National Park to Kantishna. Along the way watch for caribou, moose, grizzly bears, and Dall sheep. With luck, you will also have views of mighty Denali – North America’s tallest peak. Upon arrival at the lodge receive a brief orientation and enjoy dinner in the main lodge before settling into your private cabin for the evening.

Travel from Denali National Park to Anchorage
