Meet your private driver/guide and transfer to your hotel, located in the mountainside community of Girdwood, and situated amidst dramatic mountains and glaciers. This evening, you have the option of receiving a wakeup-call should the aurora borealis appear.

Meet your private driver/guide and continue your journey south along the scenic Turnagain Arm to the scenic town of Seward. Board a high-speed catamaran to explore the world of wildlife and glaciers in Kenai Fjords National Park. Scout for sea otters, sea lions, seals, puffins, and whales before approaching an actively calving tidewater glacier. Return to Girdwood this evening.

Girdwood to Talkeetna

Journey north as you make your way to the quaint community of Talkeetna. As you pass through Willow, Denali is front and center on the George Parks Highway. On a clear day, the mountain is unmissable, along with the rest of the Alaska Range.

Board luxury dome railcars aboard the Alaska Railroad for a scenic rail journey through Alaska’s backcountry. Catch glimpses of nesting bald eagles along the shores of the Susitna River, and keep a lookout for spawning salmon in the streams.

Explore the fall colors of Denali National Park as you travel up to 62 miles along the park road. Keep your eyes open for possible sightings of Denali’s resident creatures: bears, caribou, wolves, fox, Dall sheep, and moose all call this park home.

Denali to Fairbanks

Travel north to Fairbanks by private vehicle and embark on a private city tour exploring the best of Fairbanks: Golden Heart Plaza, the Trans-Alaska-Pipeline, and the Santa Claus House in North Pole. Late this evening, learn the best tips for photographing the Northern Lights before practicing your new skills as the lights dance above you.

Fairbanks / Arctic Circle

Experience Alaska’s arctic by land and air with an Aurora Fly/Drive adventure. Fly north from Fairbanks before landing above the Arctic Circle in ceremonious fashion. As you make your way back to Fairbanks on your guided ground tour, stop along the shores of the mighty Yukon River to scan the northern sky for the aurora.
